The Torrales fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isadore Arberas should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute Caton Quintairos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isadore Arberas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Iaki Zamanillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mulatalito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torrales the free kick. Iaki Zamanillo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ponciano Canzino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Walme Barambio. Mulatalito FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Iaki Zamanillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Isadore Arberas made a huge save.

The supporters of Torrales booed when Mulatalito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gartxot Irazu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isadore Arberas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caton Quintairos, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Mulatalito FC's Walme Barambio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geofredo Daroca in the 66th minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Caton Quintairos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mulatalito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caton Quintairos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mulatalito FC had won after a very even match.
