Fernando Gamez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walme Barambio having to interfere. Oruza's Nastasio Ureña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iaki Zamanillo in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Oruza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moncho Idiaquez to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tajo Marine during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tajo Marine kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Felo Tarazona kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Txurio Guiles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Mulatalito FC's goalkeeper Walme Barambio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Txurio Guiles. In the 26th minute Fernando Gamez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walme Barambio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Txurio Guiles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fernando Gamez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Txurio Guiles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Walme Barambio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oruza's Fernando Gamez got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iaki Zamanillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Nastasio Ureña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Caton Quintairos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nastasio Ureña was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Nastasio Ureña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iaki Zamanillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caton Quintairos to strike the kick off in the second half. Felo Tarazona kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Caton Quintairos struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Nastasio Ureña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mulatalito FC. Txurio Guiles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walme Barambio having to interfere. With a little luck, Oruza's Nastasio Ureña got control of the ball when Iaki Zamanillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Iaki Zamanillo came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Mulatalito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iaki Zamanillo couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute of the match Jordi Pozo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Walme Barambio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Iaki Zamanillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Txurio Guiles in the 86th minute of play forced Mulatalito FC's goalkeeper Walme Barambio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mulatalito FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
