Evaristo Mediavilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Botello Cadelo in the 8th minute of play. Gabino Raimundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Macias Mercado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Mediavilla made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Argina Tresgallo sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Carupanito FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tirso Santecilla hit a great ball. After 27 minutes, Fernando Canseco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carupanito FC and the Potreriti players grew even worse after the yellow card. 26 minutes into the game, one of Carupanito FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Rafel Villacis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Botello Cadelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Botello Cadelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaristo Mediavilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Botello Cadelo's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Botello Cadelo to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Carupanito FC's Botello Cadelo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo Mediavilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rafel Villacis struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Macias Mercado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Potreriti. Gabino Raimundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Carupanito FC booed when Potreriti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosario Acebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Argina Tresgallo struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Evaristo Mediavilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carupanito FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Rafel Villacis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potreriti's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafel Villacis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Macias Mercado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabino Raimundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Macias Mercado having to interfere. The supporters of Carupanito FC booed when Potreriti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosario Acebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Macias Mercado came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Potreriti's Gabino Raimundo. But to his dismay, Gabino Raimundo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Macias Mercado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafel Villacis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lando Consul hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 93 played minutes, Carupanito FC's Sal Caldevilla shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Evaristo Mediavilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carupanito FC reached it. Gabino Raimundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Macias Mercado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Potreriti's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
