Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Maira's Ishmael Lezarazo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Romano Viñas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gergori Udias having to interfere. If Ishmael Lezarazo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karlos Frias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Polentzi Muzquiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Karlos Frias fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Romano Viñas might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gergori Udias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romano Viñas ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the game, Maira's Romano Viñas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gergori Udias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romano Viñas in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gergori Udias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the match, Giron's goal looked a bit too open when Ishmael Lezarazo came free, but Gergori Udias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Giron's zone, Ishmael Lezarazo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gergori Udias came out of the goal and Ishmael Lezarazo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Maira's Ishmael Lezarazo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gergori Udias narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karlos Frias to make the kick off. After 56 minutes, Handi Cardeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maira and the Giron players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, one of Maira:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Maira. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Giron. Medero Valsera stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Polentzi Muzquiz. 1-2. When Nalo Barsi came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Giron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nalo Barsi couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Maira's zone, Nalo Barsi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Polentzi Muzquiz came out of the goal and Nalo Barsi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruperto PayµN kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Giron's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Ishmael Lezarazo scored to the left of an out of position Gergori Udias, making the score, 1-3. 78 minutes into the game, Romano Viñas lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Gergori Udias. Romano Viñas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Gergori Udias made a huge save. If Romano Viñas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gergori Udias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ishmael Lezarazo in the 90th minute of play. Karlos Frias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Polentzi Muzquiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Naelio Olivos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Maira's Ruperto PayµN got a free kick in the 94th minute. Karlos Frias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polentzi Muzquiz having to interfere. In the 100th minute, Karlos Frias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
