Constancio Barrionuevo scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albino Macia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Romano Viñas might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albino Macia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romano Viñas ran back to his position shaking his head. If Constancio Barrionuevo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emesto Lijarco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Polentzi Muzquiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bruzual booed when Maira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Gancedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Maira's zone, Emesto Lijarco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Polentzi Muzquiz came out of the goal and Emesto Lijarco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Jacinto Rabanal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bruzual's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Rabanal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Polentzi Muzquiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 24 played minutes Maira got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Gancedo. Romano Viñas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albino Macia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Romano Viñas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Albino Macia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Emesto Lijarco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Polentzi Muzquiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bruzual's Ovando Quintarnaya got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Pablo-Enrique Vilarrubia sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bruzual's Albino Macia didn't even have to move. Romano Viñas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Macia having to interfere. Bruzual's Albino Macia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romano Viñas in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Pablo-Enrique Vilarrubia charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo-Enrique Vilarrubia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Maira getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Pablo-Enrique Vilarrubia hit a great ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Bruzual's Emesto Lijarco in the 57th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Polentzi Muzquiz was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Maira through an amazing save. After a rather tough play, Bruzual's Videl Vina got a free kick in the 59th minute. Pablo-Enrique Vilarrubia didn't quite understand what happened when in the 60 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emesto Lijarco in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Polentzi Muzquiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Bruzual getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ovando Quintarnaya hit a great ball. Albino Macia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romano Viñas in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Jacinto Rabanal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bruzual's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Rabanal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Polentzi Muzquiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Emesto Lijarco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albino Macia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constancio Barrionuevo in the 84th minute of the match. Jacinto Rabanal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maira's Polentzi Muzquiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elorri Urquizu in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Constancio Barrionuevo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constancio Barrionuevo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maira were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bruzual for a fine match.
