Chago Buyolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romano Viñas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chago Buyolo having to interfere. Chago Buyolo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romano Viñas in the 14th minute. If Romano Viñas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Menecure's zone, Ishmael Lezarazo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chago Buyolo came out of the goal and Ishmael Lezarazo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Menecure's goalkeeper Chago Buyolo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romano Viñas. In the 22nd minute, Romano Viñas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquim Suso kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ishmael Lezarazo in the 34th minute of play forced Menecure's goalkeeper Chago Buyolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romano Viñas struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Chago Buyolo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maira.
