Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gergori Udias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emesto Lijarco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Rabanals short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Gergori Udias to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Albino Macia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nalo Barsi's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urdaspal Prus during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Giron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urdaspal Prus to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute of the match Videl Vina shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gergori Udias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Giron's zone, Emesto Lijarco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gergori Udias came out of the goal and Emesto Lijarco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the game, Bruzual's Ovando Quintarnaya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gergori Udias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Bruzual's Elorri Urquizu got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gergori Udias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emesto Lijarco, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Jacinto Rabanal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Gergori Udias made a huge save. Nalo Barsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Albino Macia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karlos Frias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Macia having to interfere. Karlos Frias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Garin Hinojosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bruzual's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Giron the free kick. The supporters of Giron booed when Bruzual was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garin Hinojosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karlos Frias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Albino Macia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Giron getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Txordon Olivieri hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karlos Frias was the one to do the kick off. Emesto Lijarco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gergori Udias having to interfere. Karlos Frias struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Albino Macia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Giron. In the 61st minute Karlos Frias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Macia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Rabanal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Giron's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Rabanal came free, but Gergori Udias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruzual's Albino Macia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Bruzual from getting a goal against them. If Nalo Barsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Albino Macia managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Giron's Nalo Barsi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bruzual's Emesto Lijarco got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd match minute, Giron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gorbea Lorza to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Rabanal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Rabanal in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gergori Udias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Giron players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bruzual.
