An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Lluciano Cossio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sanson Arbieto struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Chano Trasloseros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laguneta FC. Macerio Cardarda kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Daniel Barja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaueko Casquete, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Otoniel Endaya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Barja. Laguneta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otoniel Endaya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Otoniel Endaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Daniel Barja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Gaueko Casquete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Barja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Barja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otoniel Endaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 41 minutes of play, Curanaco's Otoniel Endaya made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Barja was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Sanson Arbieto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaueko Casquete to make the kick off. Daniel Barja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaueko Casquete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaueko Casquete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chano Trasloseros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Macerio Cardarda, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 61stth minute of the game Sanson Arbieto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curanaco's Chano Trasloseros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute Lluciano Cossio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chano Trasloseros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Barja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaueko Casquete in the 68th minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Lluciano Cossio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laguneta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lluciano Cossio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Sanson Arbieto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laguneta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sanson Arbieto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chano Trasloseros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernabel Sagastia's late challenge caught a Laguneta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernabel Sagastia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Curanaco's Bernabel Sagastia got a free kick in the 78th minute. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Otoniel Endaya got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaueko Casquete in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Barja saved Laguneta FC from getting behind. Chano Trasloseros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sanson Arbieto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Laguneta FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Curanaco's performance. The match ended with a win for Curanaco.
