An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Rocafort in the 4th minute of play forced Calazanero's goalkeeper Dimo Isasaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Calazanero's goalkeeper Dimo Isasaga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristobal Urraca. After a rather tough play, Calazanero's Timo Labandera got a free kick in the 13th minute. Santiago Rocafort sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 17th minute of the match Vermudo Pala shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dimo Isasaga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Santiago Rocafort received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Dimo Isasaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Santiago Rocafort who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calazanero's Dimo Isasaga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 21 in the game by Cristobal Urraca from a close distance when the talented Dimo Isasaga managed to make a qualified save. Calazanero's players were relieved. The supporters of Piritalito FC booed when Calazanero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan Verda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Piritalito FC's Santiago Rocafort got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Calazanero booed when Piritalito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aznaro Morente didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Calazanero's Xuoco Bezanilla broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Santiago Rocafort had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41stth minute of the game Santiago Rocafort who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calazanero's Dimo Isasaga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th minute Santiago Rocafort shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimo Isasaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agostinho Herbi was the one to do the kick off. Santiago Rocafort received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Dimo Isasaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ur Cayon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Herbi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the game, Domingos Sagaseta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piritalito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calazanero the free kick. In the 67th minute, Domingos Sagaseta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Calazanero's Ryan Verda got a free kick in the 70th minute. Gabirel Salas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dimo Isasaga. Calazanero's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Santiago Rocafort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimo Isasaga having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Agostinho Herbi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ur Cayon. That made the score 0-1 in the 76 minute of play. In the 80thth minute of the game Cristobal Urraca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calazanero's Dimo Isasaga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Santiago Rocafort managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piritalito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Rocafort was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimo Isasaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the game, Aznaro Morente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piritalito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calazanero the free kick. A collision led to Piritalito FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Aznaro Morente hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, one of Calazanero:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Calazanero. In the 94th match minute, Piritalito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aznaro Morente to maneuver through the defense. Ur Cayon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agostinho Herbi, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
