Criston Moreira came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Aguacatico FC's Garcia Cedron. But to his dismay, Garcia Cedron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Aguacatico FC's Iruinea Cerrabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Carreño in the 35th minute of play. Alberto Carreño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Aguacatico FC's Teofilo Villagomez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Criston Moreira. That made the score 2-0 after 47 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Carreño was the one to do the kick off. Criston Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Arismendi in the 57th minute of the match. Min Bustio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Criston Moreira having to interfere. Criston Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garcia Cedron in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Arismendi in the 61st minute of play forced FC Juventus Venezuela's goalkeeper Criston Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garcia Cedron charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Garcia Cedron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Min Bustio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes FC Juventus Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Severo Pavolleta. Criston Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Min Bustio in the 87th minute of the match.
