Aznar Escanciano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Otsoa Tojedo's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Otsoa Tojedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aznar Escanciano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Aznar Escanciano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otsoa Tojedo went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Gaizkine Venero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandalio Pego, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Mantecalito's Otsoa Tojedo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 15th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Llanos Pastrana might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aznar Escanciano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Llanos Pastrana ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otsoa Tojedo in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aznar Escanciano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 26 minutes, Otsoa Tojedo made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Peribeti's Aznar Escanciano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Medero Paratorrecilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaizkine Venero. Mantecalito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Medero Paratorrecilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 35 minutes into the match, Mantecalito's goal looked a bit too open when Cloyo Arenillas came free, but Gaizkine Venero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otsoa Tojedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Otsoa Tojedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Aznar Escanciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Otsoa Tojedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Aznar Escanciano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aznar Escanciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otsoa Tojedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Cordarrol Bustio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Otsoa Tojedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Medero Paratorrecilla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peribeti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mantecalito the free kick. Medero Paratorrecilla hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Otsoa Tojedo in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aznar Escanciano saved Peribeti from getting behind. 63 minutes into the match, Mantecalito's goalkeeper Gaizkine Venero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frichoso Losado. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otsoa Tojedo in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aznar Escanciano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th match minute, Mantecalito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordarrol Bustio to maneuver through the defense. Peribeti's Filiberto Ordoñez got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Rai Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Armando Giraldez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mantecalito's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Giraldez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aznar Escanciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mantecalito's Armando Giraldez got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Armando Giraldez came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Mantecalito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Giraldez couldn't finish the play. Mantecalito's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
