Herminio Aleja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gitano Herran having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Brion Rolon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Herminio Aleja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Maicillar FC's Artal Monar got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Conoropa's Iratxo Giner broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Brion Rolon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mariano Paradela came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Maicillar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Paradela couldn't finish the play. Gerardo Digon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polo Zubillaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A collision led to Conoropa getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ryan Aviñante hit a great ball. When Polo Zubillaga got free in front of the goal in the 32nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Gerardo Digon was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 34th minute Polo Zubillaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Digon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Polo Zubillaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Xofre Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Maicillar FC's Gitano Herran got control of the ball when Brion Rolon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Gitano Herran successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 46 minutes Maicillar FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iratxo Giner who took care of the corner kick.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Polo Zubillaga was the one to do the kick off. Conoropa's Brion Rolon got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herminio Aleja took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gitano Herran. Gitano Herran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 65 played minutes Maicillar FC got a freekick which was hit by Iruinea Outon. In the 68th match minute, Maicillar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artal Monar to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Herminio Aleja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herminio Aleja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gitano Herran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Aleja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 played minutes, Maicillar FC's Xofre Villa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gerardo Digon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maicillar FC reached it. 92 minutes into the match, Maicillar FC's Polo Zubillaga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerardo Digon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gitano Herran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brion Rolon, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
