But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Traves couldn't finish the play. Isidoro Ferran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Goicoechea's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Ixidor Mollinedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inguma Momparte, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evis Sarabia in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidoro Ferran saved TENSHI FC from getting behind. Ramiro Goicoechea might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidoro Ferran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramiro Goicoechea ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Traves in the 22nd minute of play forced TENSHI FC's goalkeeper Isidoro Ferran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ixidor Mollinedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Inguma Momparte showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Gilberto Traves struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Isidoro Ferran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaranaro. A collision led to TENSHI FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Gabriel Osma hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evis Sarabia in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidoro Ferran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 39 minutes, Ramiro Goicoechea made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. TENSHI FC's Isidoro Ferran tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Guaranaro's Gilberto Traves in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TENSHI FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gilberto Traves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Ferran having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramiro Goicoechea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Gilberto Traves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, TENSHI FC's goalkeeper Isidoro Ferran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilberto Traves. Gilberto Traves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Gilberto Traves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Gilberto Traves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Isidoro Ferran made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Guaranaro's Evis Sarabia got a free kick in the 95th minute. When Gilberto Traves came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Guaranaro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Traves couldn't finish the play. The TENSHI FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Guaranaro were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
