Botalon's Maraman Isla got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Guachiqui FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Corderun Bono hit a great ball. Andres Modino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mon Darroja having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Botalon's Maraman Isla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mon Darroja. Mon Darroja yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Tiburcio Acosta kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Guachiqui FC's Cebrian Alcedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bidari Albalate narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 24 minutes into the game, Papo Valentin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Botalon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guachiqui FC the free kick. The supporters of Guachiqui FC booed when Botalon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Papo Valentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Cebrian Alcedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bidari Albalate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eate Dicastillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bidari Albalate having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Maraman Isla fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Belarmo Santin hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Despite close surveillance by the defense, Indartsu Aguiriano managed to send off a shot that put the ball into the goal to the left of a disappointed goalkeeper. 2-0 in the 39th minute. When Andres Modino came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Botalon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Modino couldn't finish the play. Tiburcio Acosta kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
Mon Darroja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maraman Isla in the 53rd minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Botalon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Indartsu Aguiriano to maneuver through the defense. Bidari Albalate was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Cebrian Alcedo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cebrian Alcedo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maraman Isla in the 74th minute of play forced Guachiqui FC's goalkeeper Mon Darroja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres Modino struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Mon Darroja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Botalon. Andres Modino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mon Darroja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Andres Modino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mon Darroja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Modino in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, Botalon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mergildo Salces to maneuver through the defense. Cebrian Alcedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bidari Albalate having to make a save. 92 minutes into the game, Corderun Bono was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The referee showed Romeo Tuesta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Guachiqui FC's Romeo Tuesta got a free kick in the 94th minute. Guachiqui FC's Mon Darroja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maraman Isla in the 96th minute of play. Botalon walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
