After 3 minutes, Angel Berar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Araguita FC and the Corredores FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Angel Berar kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Araguita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xoan Castaneda came free, but Paulo Ocio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sesuldo Prieto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 played minutes Araguita FC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Berar. Paulino Bielva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulo Ocio. Araguita FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xoan Castaneda in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Ocio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Corredores FC's zone, Feliz Galo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte Closa came out of the goal and Feliz Galo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Araguita FC's Nayely Urioste in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Corredores FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Corredores FC's Lalla Magdalena got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 31 played minutes Araguita FC got a freekick which was hit by Boni Rocha. If Xoan Castaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nayely Urioste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Closa having to interfere. Xoan Castaneda took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Ocio. Paulo Ocio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nayely Urioste received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Duarte Closa came out and tried to block the shot, but Nayely Urioste slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Corredores FC's Duarte Closa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliz Galo in the 54th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sesuldo Prieto got free with Paulo Ocio in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nayely Urioste struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Duarte Closa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Araguita FC. In the 63rd minute Nayely Urioste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Closa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Xoan Castaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nayely Urioste in the 68th minute of play forced Corredores FC's goalkeeper Duarte Closa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Araguita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Berar to maneuver through the defense. When Sesuldo Prieto came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Corredores FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sesuldo Prieto couldn't finish the play. Miguel Urtuuste charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Urtuuste the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Araguita FC booed when Corredores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Urtuuste didn't get a good kick on the ball.
