Nafarroa Paratorrecilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Macerio Ondarra having to interfere. Xorxe Trelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Andoni Peñacastillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Nafarroa Paratorrecilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Macerio Ondarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Macerio Ondarra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Caiman's Andoni Peñacastillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xorxe Trelles in the 18th minute of play. Buinton Saribiarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Andoni Peñacastillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nafarroa Paratorrecilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ysmael Ansola hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Ekaitz Rechani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Macerio Ondarra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Candelaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martxot Arreguia to maneuver through the defense. Martxot Arreguia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ysmael Ansola during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Caiman getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ysmael Ansola hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xorxe Trelles to strike the kick off in the second half. Macerio Ondarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ekaitz Rechani in the 52nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ekaitz Rechani in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Macerio Ondarra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nafarroa Paratorrecilla struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Macerio Ondarra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caiman. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caiman's goalkeeper Andoni Peñacastillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ekaitz Rechani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Macerio Ondarra having to interfere. Macerio Ondarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ekaitz Rechani, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's Buinton Saribiarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andoni Peñacastillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ekaitz Rechani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buinton Saribiarte might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andoni Peñacastillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Buinton Saribiarte ran back to his position shaking his head. If Nafarroa Paratorrecilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Ofelio Somarribas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nafarroa Paratorrecilla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Macerio Ondarra made a huge save.
