Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sancho Camacho got the match started through his kick off. After 2 played minutes Peladeros got a freekick which was hit by Aitor Bernalda. Gervaso Buison hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Larpe Umaña was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaizka Descalzo got free with Roque Redondo in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute of the match, Sancho Camacho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Roque Redondo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 14th minute, Sancho Camacho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Roque Redondo, passed just outside the right post. Ponc Puredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Dacorrega having to interfere. Peladeros's Bonifacio Bornes got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Gervaso Buison cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Paulino Dacorrega was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Favila Troconiz kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Bonifacio Bornes made a precise shot to the right of Paulino Dacorrega. Salobre's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Bonifacio Bornes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Paulino Dacorrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bonifacio Bornes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Bornes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulino Dacorrega. Bonifacio Bornes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. If Bonifacio Bornes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sancho Camacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Gaizka Descalzo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roque Redondo was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After having played for 70 minutes, Ponc Puredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peladeros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ponc Puredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Salobre's Sarracino Ferreros got a free kick in the 71st minute. Peladeros's Roque Redondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaizka Descalzo in the 76th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Gaizka Descalzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salobre's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaizka Descalzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roque Redondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Peladeros! Ponc Puredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Dacorrega having to interfere. Fero Cantillo charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fero Cantillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Peladeros booed when Salobre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fero Cantillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salobre's goalkeeper Paulino Dacorrega, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Peladeros supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peladeros would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
