After 11 minutes, Joey Ordoñez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bocare FC and the Guiripa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bocare FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Joey Ordoñez hit a great ball. After 16 minutes of play Bocare FC's Joey Ordoñez was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Guiripa FC booed when Bocare FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joey Ordoñez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeronimo Barsi struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ramos Azcoitia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bocare FC. Ramos Azcoitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Barsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Manolito Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Ramos Azcoitia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Barsi in the 27th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Guiripa FC got a freekick which was hit by Manolito Camargo. With a little luck, Bocare FC's Cisco Urive got control of the ball when Victorino Iturbide tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelino Pascual recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramos Azcoitia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Barsi in the 40th minute of play. Cisco Urive made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Gamero in the 41st minute of play. Cisco Urive made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorino Iturbide in the 43rd minute. After having played for 48 minutes, Victorino Iturbide managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guiripa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorino Iturbide was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeronimo Barsi to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Cordarrel Canton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cisco Urive showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 54th minute Victorino Iturbide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cisco Urive saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Gamero in the 55th minute of play forced Bocare FC's goalkeeper Cisco Urive to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeronimo Barsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nardo Siruendo's late challenge caught a Bocare FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nardo Siruendo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Nardo Siruendo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Guiripa FC's zone, Jeronimo Barsi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramos Azcoitia came out of the goal and Jeronimo Barsi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Bocare FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
