Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute, Roldan Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 8 played minutes Palmiro got a freekick which was hit by Marcelito Colombres. Ellande Saludes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 12 in the game by Galindo Domaquia from a close distance when the talented Dionisio Piñeros managed to make a qualified save. Campanario FC's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Galindo Domaquia got free with Dionisio Piñeros in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dionisio Piñeros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Vazquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Honorio Vazquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dionisio Piñeros was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 20th minute Ellande Saludes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valerio Gavela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Campanario FC booed when Palmiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelito Colombres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorio Vazquez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dionisio Piñeros came out and tried to block the shot, but Honorio Vazquez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 32nd minute. Palmiro's Fernan Arzuriaga shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dionisio Piñeros but with some difficulty. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Galindo Domaquia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dionisio Piñeros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Vazquez in the 43rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Palmiro's zone, Roldan Freire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valerio Gavela came out of the goal and Roldan Freire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Curcio Mesones's late challenge caught a Campanario FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Curcio Mesones helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Palmiro got a freekick which was hit by Curcio Mesones. A collision led to Campanario FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Beila Guizabal hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Honorio Vazquez made the kick off in the second half. Dionisio Piñeros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Vazquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ellande Saludes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valerio Gavela having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Palmiro's goal looked a bit too open when Gero Lamadrid came free, but Valerio Gavela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Honorio Vazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Roldan Freire left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Campanario FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Campanario FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Beila Guizabal hit a great ball. After 74th play minutes Galindo Domaquia shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Dionisio Piñeros and just under the crossbar into goal. Dionisio Piñeros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Galindo Domaquia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Campanario FC's Dionisio Piñeros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Vazquez in the 86th minute of play. Roldan Freire's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Valerio Gavela skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Valerio Gavela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ellande Saludes in the 93rd minute of play. Roldan Freire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Valerio Gavela made a huge save. The Campanario FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Palmiro from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
