Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Severo Cortiguera kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Guayabillos's Sal Cabrera got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Cumaraguita's Salamon Meruendano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Guayabillos. 6 minutes into the game, Otsoko Torio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guayabillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cumaraguita the free kick. 6 minutes into the game, one of Guayabillos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Severo Cortiguera came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Cumaraguita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Cortiguera couldn't finish the play. Cumaraguita's Severo Cortiguera got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severo Cortiguera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anaya Aramoyana having to interfere. Artal Aveo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Berart Orio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cumaraguita getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Romulo Avendaño hit a great ball. A collision led to Guayabillos getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Inocente Sopuerta hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Artal Aveo made the kick off in the second half. If Romulo Avendaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Severo Cortiguera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Anaya Aramoyana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anaya Aramoyana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severo Cortiguera went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Berart Orio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balasi Trullols in the 68th minute. Severino Guete's late challenge caught a Guayabillos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severino Guete helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Cumaraguita got a freekick which was hit by Severino Guete. Anaya Aramoyana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Avendaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 73 minutes into the game, when Cheche Quintana put in a rough tackle. Everardo Astola shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Artal Aveo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berart Orio having to interfere. Artal Aveo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Berart Orio having to make a save. Hibai Mor might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anaya Aramoyana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hibai Mor ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute, Otsoko Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artal Aveo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Berart Orio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cumaraguita were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Guayabillos for a fine match.
