Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Maijia's Dunixi Rebolloso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Blasi Cruzado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Gau Grande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ignacio Bureu took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Almiron. Marcelo Almiron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Mannie Jaquinot was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Norberto Mogrovejo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. Diego Armiñan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dunixi Rebolloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mannie Jaquinot made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Veronica Panero sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes into the match, Mazapa's Ignacio Bureu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Almiron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcelo Almiron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Bureu, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gau Grande was the one to do the kick off. Mannie Jaquinot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veronica Panero, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Marcelo Almiron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gau Grande in the 59th minute of play. Gau Grande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Mazapa booed when Maijia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veronica Panero didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ignacio Bureu came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Mazapa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Bureu couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Maijia's Ihintza Area got a free kick in the 67th minute. Maijia's Marcelo Almiron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Maijia from getting a goal against them. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Maijia's goalkeeper Marcelo Almiron, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sebastian Artealde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignacio Bureu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Almiron having to make a save. 80 minutes into the match, Mazapa's Ignacio Bureu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Almiron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Veronica Panero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mannie Jaquinot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Veronica Panero went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Gau Grande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maijia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
