The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Estades in the 3rd minute of play forced Paraguaipoa's goalkeeper Lartaun Villabedon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lartaun Villabedon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidoro Pachistre in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Nepomuceno's goal looked a bit too open when Iaki Goyo came free, but Ciano Alvaredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nepomuceno's Ciano Alvaredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elequemedo Garraz in the 23rd minute of play. Ciano Alvaredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elequemedo Garraz in the 24th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Iaki Goyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciano Alvaredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes, Burni Alcocer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nepomuceno and the Paraguaipoa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Nepomuceno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burni Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes, Paraguaipoa's Beturian Ramila shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ciano Alvaredo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paraguaipoa reached it. Nepomuceno's Balendin Rado shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 36th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lartaun Villabedon but with some difficulty. Damaso Bonvehi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lartaun Villabedon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidoro Pachistre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Mark Zalaca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lartaun Villabedon was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Sidoro Pachistre capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sidoro Pachistre really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 47th minute, Burni Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iaki Goyo made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iaki Goyo in the 52nd minute of play forced Nepomuceno's goalkeeper Ciano Alvaredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidoro Pachistre might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lartaun Villabedon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sidoro Pachistre ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguaipoa's zone, Damaso Bonvehi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lartaun Villabedon came out of the goal and Damaso Bonvehi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidoro Pachistre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lartaun Villabedon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. If Damaso Bonvehi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nepomuceno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Bonvehi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Damaso Bonvehi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
