Osasun Candamo hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. When Velasco Cero came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Jautaipanou FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Velasco Cero couldn't finish the play. Christian Bevia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Alvarez Serna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Guamito's Osasun Candamo got a free kick in the 9th minute. Velasco Cero struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Alvarez Serna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jautaipanou FC. In the 13th minute Ferdinand Aranguren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eguerdi Uquillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ferdinand Aranguren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Teodoro Payueta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eguerdi Uquillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eguerdi Uquillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Aranguren in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Guamito booed when Jautaipanou FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mergildo Galdamiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute of the match Venceslas Minilo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eguerdi Uquillas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velasco Cero in the 27th minute of play forced Guamito's goalkeeper Alvarez Serna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Guamito's goalkeeper Alvarez Serna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Bevia. Alvarez Serna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Bevia went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Teodoro Payueta might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eguerdi Uquillas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodoro Payueta ran back to his position shaking his head. Teodoro Payueta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eguerdi Uquillas having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute, Oier Alcala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Christian Bevia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Guamito's zone, Velasco Cero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvarez Serna came out of the goal and Velasco Cero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eguerdi Uquillas made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Ferdinand Aranguren sent off a good shot on target. Teodoro Payueta might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eguerdi Uquillas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodoro Payueta ran back to his position shaking his head. Teodoro Payueta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jautaipanou FC's Eguerdi Uquillas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Jautaipanou FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Aranguren in the 80th minute of play forced Jautaipanou FC's goalkeeper Eguerdi Uquillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th match minute, Guamito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edilberto Nurueña to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the game, Osasun Candamo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guamito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jautaipanou FC the free kick.
