When Jobo Herezuelo came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Casubero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jobo Herezuelo couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, Muasimoina FC's Richie Hualde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faro Larrauri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Richie Hualde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Jobo Herezuelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnas Escanciano. Muasimoina FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jobo Herezuelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Arnas Escanciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loi Mollinedo in the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Muasimoina FC's Gaizko Amenedo got a free kick in the 34th minute. Arnas Escanciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loi Mollinedo in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Casubero booed when Muasimoina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaizko Amenedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casubero were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Muasimoina FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nazario Agrelo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Nazario Agrelo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnas Escanciano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Richie Hualde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faro Larrauri having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardino Ceitegui stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernardino Ceitegui struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Faro Larrauri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muasimoina FC. Gaizko Amenedo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. A hard shot 58 in the game by Jobo Herezuelo from a close distance when the talented Arnas Escanciano managed to make a qualified save. Muasimoina FC's players were relieved. If Loi Mollinedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muasimoina FC's Arnas Escanciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loi Mollinedo in the 70th minute of play. Gaizko Amenedo charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaizko Amenedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gaizko Amenedo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. If Bernardino Ceitegui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richie Hualde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Richie Hualde came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Muasimoina FC fans jumped to their feet. After 82 played minutes Muasimoina FC got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Pellin. After a defensive mix-up in Muasimoina FC's zone, Jobo Herezuelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnas Escanciano came out of the goal and Jobo Herezuelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Faro Larrauri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Ceitegui, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richie Hualde in the 93rd minute of play forced Casubero's goalkeeper Faro Larrauri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Muasimoina FC booed when Casubero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ximenez Respaldiza didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Casubero had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
