Mannuel Fajardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Davalos in the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Gombal Melgarejo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Burualla. Mompos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gombal Melgarejo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ted Davalos hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Paio Miravalles hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Gombal Melgarejo scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Burualla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ted Davalos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Segio Burguete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mompos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Copeyal FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ted Davalos to strike the kick off in the second half. Segio Burguete struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Ernesto Burualla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Copeyal FC. The audience was convinced that Segio Burguete's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernesto Burualla was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Segio Burguete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ernesto Burualla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Mompos's Odon Roson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Odon Roson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mompos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Odon Roson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The crowd rose to their feet as Copeyal FC's Gombal Melgarejo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernesto Burualla. That made the score 0-4 after 77 minutes of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Raul Peinado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mompos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Peinado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raul Peinado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mannuel Fajardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaueko Juanes in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Copeyal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazuste Pino to maneuver through the defense.
