Trompillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arias Viscon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmundo Sabuco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trompillo FC's Arias Viscon got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trompillo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Oihenarte Riesco scored to the left of an out of position Guilherme Urrue, making the score, 1-0. Tomas Rocandia kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Arias Viscon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Castana FC's Guilherme Urrue threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oihenarte Riesco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Elodio Piñeiros struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Edmundo Sabuco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trompillo FC. In the 35th minute, Garcia Figueruel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmundo Sabuco was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Arias Viscon might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmundo Sabuco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arias Viscon ran back to his position shaking his head. Oihenarte Riesco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guilherme Urrue having to make a save. Cordaryal Alvisto might have been able to make a better finish in the 49th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmundo Sabuco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cordaryal Alvisto ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oihenarte Riesco in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guilherme Urrue saved Trompillo FC from getting behind. Sein Añoza might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmundo Sabuco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sein Añoza ran back to his position shaking his head. Elodio Piñeiros took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmundo Sabuco. Edmundo Sabuco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 67th minute, Paulino Bonal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 minutes of play, Castana FC's Pedro Mudarra made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guilherme Urrue was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edmundo Sabuco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arias Viscon in the 74th minute. A collision led to Trompillo FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Cordaryal Alvisto hit a great ball. Moncho Gabirondo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guilherme Urrue. Trompillo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pedro Mudarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Urrue having to interfere. Arias Viscon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Sabuco having to interfere. If Oihenarte Riesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes Castana FC got a freekick which was hit by Daunte Callergos. 97 minutes into the game, Trompillo FC's Arias Viscon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmundo Sabuco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Trompillo FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
