After 15 played minutes, Guayaraca FC's Marz Madariaga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guillelme Vilaplana came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guayaraca FC reached it. 16 minutes into the game, Cris Zumiza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cordero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guayaraca FC the free kick. Cris Zumiza hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Guayaraca FC's Eustacio Larrinoa got a free kick in the 17th minute. Patrido Cucho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillelme Vilaplana having to interfere. Rai Bardeci struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Otsando Roales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cordero. A collision led to Guayaraca FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Esiquio Pujals hit a great ball. Patrido Cucho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Guayaraca FC's Patrido Cucho got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute of the match Guayaraca FC got a corner. Cordero's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marz Madariaga ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fernando Alfaro made a great header on Guayaraca FC's corner, it was just that Cordero's Guillelme Vilaplana managed to reach the ball for a save. Guillelme Vilaplana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrido Cucho in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Carlos Congey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Otsando Roales was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Guillelme Vilaplana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrido Cucho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Cordero's goalkeeper Guillelme Vilaplana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reimundo Hondon. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cordero had won after a very even match.
