Internacional Escuálido's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Lopes Peralves scored to the left of an out of position Txerran Recino, making the score, 1-0. Txerran Recino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lopes Peralves in the 25th minute of the match. When Internacional Escuálido's Ramos Arroniz in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Concejo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Concejo FC's Severino Moyuelo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 30 minutes in the game, fortunately Txerran Recino had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When Severino Moyuelo fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Concejo FC's protests and gave Severino Moyuelo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Concejo FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Severino Moyuelo hit a great ball. Concejo FC's Lopes Peralves got his second yellow card of the match in the 34th minute. The referee ordered Lopes Peralves off the ground. After a rather tough play, Concejo FC's Lopes Peralves got a free kick in the 34th minute. Internacional Escuálido's Txerran Recino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Txerran Navia in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 played minutes Concejo FC got a freekick which was hit by Kinsen Mori. Jose-Antonio Ruberte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Castel Fontecavada, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Castel Fontecavada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Internacional Escuálido getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Primo Castellvi hit a great ball. Jose-Antonio Ruberte came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Internacional Escuálido's Castel Fontecavada. But to his dismay, Castel Fontecavada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Internacional Escuálido's Ramos Arroniz got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Gaizkine Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Concejo FC's Florian Orive got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 71st minute, Ramos Arroniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Internacional Escuálido made a substitution. Costante Magdaleno replaced Cleto Royo. Internacional Escuálido's Poz Sobarzo was substituted for Ramos Arroniz. Castel Fontecavadas short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Jose-Antonio Ruberte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Castel Fontecavada came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Internacional Escuálido fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Castel Fontecavada couldn't finish the play. Jose-Antonio Ruberte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Castel Fontecavada in the 78th minute. Savier Cachero was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 89 minutes into the match, Internacional Escuálido's Araoz Ocariz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jose-Antonio Ruberte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Internacional Escuálido's goal looked a bit too open when Txerran Navia came free, but Txerran Recino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Severino Moyuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Txerran Recino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primo Castellvi hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Internacional Escuálido players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
