When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Benedicto Alcega took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Karmel Arteson to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Alcega in the 6th minute of play forced Locomotora Yaritagua's goalkeeper Karmel Arteson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Candamo in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciano Botejara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benedicto Alcega hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Moqueta's Ciano Botejara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Candamo in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baladi Riesco got free with Karmel Arteson in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karmel Arteson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon Curcio, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The Locomotora Yaritagua fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karmel Arteson should have stopped the shot. Karmel Arteson made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Baladi Riesco sent off a good shot on target.
