Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Guaimure's Gaueko Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Polo Gordo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaueko Illescas in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Augusto Pelayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Pelayo in the 7th minute of play forced Guaimure's goalkeeper Karmel Zalvide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Pelayo had several of the Guaimure's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Karmel Zalvide as he didn't even see the shot coming. Domingote FC's Polo Gordo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaueko Illescas in the 12th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Domingote FC got a freekick which was hit by Ermano Davila. Denis Bustillo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Baladi Lueje fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polo Gordo having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Domingote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaueko Illescas came free, but Polo Gordo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gaueko Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Polo Gordo was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Denis Bustillo's late challenge caught a Guaimure's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Bustillo helped the player get up and apologised. Augusto Pelayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Karmel Zalvide made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Augusto Pelayo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karmel Zalvide. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaueko Illescas in the 36th minute of play forced Domingote FC's goalkeeper Polo Gordo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes Domingote FC got a freekick which was hit by Federico Payon. If Baladi Lueje had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Bizoso was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Baladi Lueje got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Carlos Bizoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Polo Gordo managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Guaimure's Baladi Lueje fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gaueko Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mero Cavaneros did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Polo Gordo 78 minutes into the match. Augusto Pelayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Karmel Zalvide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Domingote FC's Augusto Pelayo in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guaimure's goalie prevented a goal. Carlos Bizoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute Carlos Bizoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karmel Zalvide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaimure's Nicasio Ayos got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaueko Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guaimure's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
