The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Moquetico's Pinto Boveda in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cachaza FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Moquetico's Veronica Somovilla got control of the ball when Cesario Tobar tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pinto Boveda in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remir Soraiz saved Cachaza FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pinto Boveda in the 14th minute of play forced Cachaza FC's goalkeeper Remir Soraiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesario Tobar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Veronica Somovilla skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cesario Tobar in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Veronica Somovilla, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Severo Chimeno came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Moquetico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Chimeno couldn't finish the play. After 30 minutes, Blanco Iruretagoyena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cachaza FC and the Moquetico players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Blanco Iruretagoyena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiso Hubieta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Veronica Somovilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th play minute Cesario Tobar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Veronica Somovilla. 1-0. 39 minutes into the game, Severo Chimeno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Remir Soraiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tiso Hubieta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiso Hubieta made a kick off. Veronica Somovilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Paternina went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Cesario Tobar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Veronica Somovilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 minutes of play, Moquetico's Pinto Boveda made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remir Soraiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Severo Chimeno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moquetico's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Chimeno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remir Soraiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moquetico's Veronica Somovilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesario Tobar in the 69th minute of play. Veronica Somovilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesario Tobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Cachaza FC's Remir Soraiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pinto Boveda in the 80th minute of play. Severo Chimeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remir Soraiz having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Remir Soraiz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Moquetico getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Luis-Antonio Reigada hit a great ball. Remir Soraiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pinto Boveda in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Moquetico were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Cachaza FC side.
