A collision led to Maracaibo FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Arlo Aranzazu hit a great ball. Flor Alfebra kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Nicolas Morros kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lugo Xavier in the 11th minute of play forced Maracaibo FC's goalkeeper Ugutz Tamez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ugutz Tamez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ondino Velaz in the 12th minute. In the 14thth minute of the game Lugo Xavier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maracaibo FC's Ugutz Tamez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ugutz Tamez made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Ondino Velaz sent off a good shot on target. Lugo Xavier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Ugutz Tamez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ondino Velaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Morros kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Lain Verlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Satordi Lastras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Olmos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Posura's Ramiro Olmos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lain Verlo in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Posura getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ekialde Laiseca hit a great ball. Ugutz Tamez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lugo Xavier in the 35th minute of play. Arlo Aranzazu's late challenge caught a Posura's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arlo Aranzazu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Arlo Aranzazu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lain Verlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 47 minutes, Lain Verlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maracaibo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lain Verlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lugo Xavier to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Maracaibo FC booed when Posura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valiente Sainz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Fagildo Guiu from long distance, 52 minutes into the match, got Ramiro Olmos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Moncho Puntones kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermengol Balaunde in the 55th minute of play forced Maracaibo FC's goalkeeper Ugutz Tamez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maracaibo FC's Arlo Aranzazu got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Arlo Aranzazu off the ground. Arlo Aranzazu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Zeruko Tuo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ermengol Balaunde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 minutes, Iztal Bodes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maracaibo FC and the Posura players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Maracaibo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iztal Bodes to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Maracaibo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ondino Velaz came free, but Ugutz Tamez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Satordi Lastras kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Maracaibo FC defense, Ondino Velaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ugutz Tamez. The Maracaibo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ugutz Tamez should have stopped the shot. In the 71st match minute, Maracaibo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quintun Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Ondino Velaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lugo Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ugutz Tamez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lugo Xavier's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Lain Verlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ramiro Olmos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Maracaibo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Satordi Lastras to maneuver through the defense. Ondino Velaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ugutz Tamez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lugo Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ugutz Tamez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ermengol Balaunde went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Posura were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Maracaibo FC for a fine match.
