Ximeno Hortero hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Carretal's zone, Isauro Obiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egoi Barrera came out of the goal and Isauro Obiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gorbea Panadero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egoi Barrera having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cibran Valonga in the 39th minute of play forced Carretal's goalkeeper Egoi Barrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Carretal's Franco Iribarren got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Amarilis FC's goalkeeper Maurino Balda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cibran Valonga during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
