Cibran Ballina's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Jonatan Palermo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 27th play minute Cibran Ballina came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonatan Palermo. 1-0. Jonatan Palermo had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Rene Azpeitia's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rosio Amezua in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Monte Rubion saved Ceniza from getting behind. In the 48th minute, George Brunati got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Helder Barredo made a kick off. George Brunati struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Monte Rubion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caricito FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Cibran Ballina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceniza's supporters rose to their feet, but Cibran Ballina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonatan Palermo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Calixto Castañon charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Calixto Castañon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
