Cristian Bolantin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Rico Reigada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gil Castellanos kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Frechoso Losada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aznar Cañizares, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the Pena FC defense, Oalo Amenabar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frechoso Losada. The Pena FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frechoso Losada should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute, Oalo Amenabar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rico Reigada had great luck who in the 20thth minute grab hold of the ball when Flavio Ferreiras from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Pena FC's Flavio Ferreiras got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lugo Alejandre, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a little luck, Caricuao's Rico Reigada got control of the ball when Cristian Bolantin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabricio Yepes kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Caricuao's Rico Reigada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lugo Alejandre in the 41st minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 54 minutes, Cristian Bolantin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pena FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Bolantin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Bolantin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laffitte Coz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristian Bolantin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute of the match, Columbo Macias tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Frechoso Losada saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Frechoso Losada made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Aznar Cañizares sent off a good shot on target. Lorencio Montalban hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute of the match Virila Buisante sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frechoso Losada skillfully saved the ball. Rico Reigada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Bolantin in the 77th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pena FC's zone, Columbo Macias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frechoso Losada came out of the goal and Columbo Macias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the game, one of Caricuao:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Pena FC a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lugo Alejandre, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Caricuao's Rico Reigada. 1-1. Cristian Bolantin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rico Reigada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Ferreiras in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pena FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
