In the 5th match minute, Pena FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Castellanos to maneuver through the defense. When Cristian Bolantin came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Pena FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Bolantin couldn't finish the play. When Cortez Llamas came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Juberina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cortez Llamas couldn't finish the play. Dionisio Barcia kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavio Ferreiras to strike the kick off in the second half. Frechoso Losada made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Cortez Llamas sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Luis-Antonio Candano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juberina's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis-Antonio Candano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frechoso Losada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Frechoso Losada managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Juberina's Luis-Antonio Candano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 66th minute, Juberina's Luis-Antonio Candano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Frechoso Losada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis-Antonio Candano's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Cristian Bolantin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pena FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Bolantin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 81 minutes, Dionisio Barcia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juberina and the Pena FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Juberina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Ergueta to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Ferreiras in the 95th minute of play forced Juberina's goalkeeper Berenguer Fonoll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Ferreiras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
