In the 7th match minute, Bernardito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Legarda to maneuver through the defense. Xavierlada Guridi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Chandeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Matia Tebar came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Verdun FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matia Tebar couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute Matia Tebar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nastasio Durazno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nastasio Durazno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julen Merayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Timoteo Legarda fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bernardito's protests and gave Timoteo Legarda a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Bernardito got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Legarda. The audience was convinced that Julen Merayo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nastasio Durazno was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. If Matia Tebar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Orlondo Ugia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristobal Chandeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Xavierlada Guridi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Delmiro Rumayor notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Verdun FC's Xavierlada Guridi. Xavierlada Guridi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernardito's Nastasio Durazno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julen Merayo in the 40th minute of play.

52 minutes into the match, Bernardito's goal looked a bit too open when Matia Tebar came free, but Nastasio Durazno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardito's Nastasio Durazno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Bernardito from getting a goal against them. Cristobal Chandeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavierlada Guridi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Verdun FC's zone, Delmiro Rumayor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavierlada Guridi came out of the goal and Delmiro Rumayor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the game, one of Verdun FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Julen Merayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Bernardito's goal looked a bit too open when Matia Tebar came free, but Nastasio Durazno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nastasio Durazno made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Julen Merayo sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Verdun FC booed when Bernardito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inko Sambrano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julen Merayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Nastasio Durazno made a huge save. If Garcia Salvador had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julen Merayo in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nastasio Durazno, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bernardito had won after a very even match.
