In the 3rd match minute, Inglaterra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Txilar Trarigo to maneuver through the defense. Táchira F.C's Dominguez Orchua proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Táchira F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 6th minute Ilazki Caras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominguez Orchua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ilazki Caras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Táchira F.C's Dominguez Orchua proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Táchira F.C from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the match, Feo Cera notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Inglaterra's Piarres Clusella. Piarres Clusella was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eufrasio Najera kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Dolfo Anillo struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Dominguez Orchua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inglaterra. Táchira F.C's Feo Cera got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Chayo Uja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Txilar Trarigo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Dominguez Orchua made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Dolfo Anillo sent off a good shot on target. When Ilazki Caras came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Inglaterra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilazki Caras couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Táchira F.C's zone, Ilazki Caras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominguez Orchua came out of the goal and Ilazki Caras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Inglaterra players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Táchira F.C were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ilazki Caras made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Táchira F.C's Chayo Uja slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Piarres Clusella. That made the score 0-2 after 51 minutes of play. In the 54th match minute, Inglaterra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Txilar Trarigo to maneuver through the defense. Dominguez Orchua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilazki Caras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dominguez Orchua stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilazki Caras's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. When Dolfo Anillo came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Inglaterra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dolfo Anillo couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Chayo Uja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Táchira F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Chayo Uja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Piarres Clusella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dominguez Orchua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilazki Caras, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After a rather tough play, Táchira F.C's Vladimiro Villamandos got a free kick in the 89th minute. Quinton Zalaca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dominguez Orchua. Táchira F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dominguez Orchua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dolfo Anillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Táchira F.C defense, Ilazki Caras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dominguez Orchua. The Táchira F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dominguez Orchua should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Táchira F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
