Dominguez Orchua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Vilella, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Guaviarito's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Teijelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominguez Orchua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chayo Uja blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sandalio Govelo having to make a save. In the 27th minute, Feo Cera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Tomas Teijelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guaviarito's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Teijelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominguez Orchua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the match, Guaviarito's Erasmo Vilella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dominguez Orchua narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomas Teijelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dominguez Orchua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inguma Borica kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Erasmo Vilellas short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Dominguez Orchua to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Chayo Uja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Sandalio Govelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chayo Uja to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Chayo Uja recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sandalio Govelo. Chayo Uja showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Dominguez Orchua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Vilella, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Inguma Borica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tomas Teijelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominguez Orchua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Vilella in the 74th minute of the match. Táchira F.C's Feo Cera got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Teijelo kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Guaviarito got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Salero. Feo Cera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chayo Uja in the 88th minute of play forced Guaviarito's goalkeeper Sandalio Govelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erasmo Vilella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominguez Orchua having to interfere. Berbiz Rosio hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erasmo Vilella in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dominguez Orchua saved Táchira F.C from getting behind. The Táchira F.C players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
