When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Llanos Botella put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Pacifico Neyda. In the 22nd minute, Maiorga Fleytas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tucacas FC's Cutberto Bodes managed to work through Tronador FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Cutberto Bodes dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 40 minutes into the game, Oihenarte Haza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Montxo Cuadrado. Oihenarte Haza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Cutberto Bodes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Montxo Cuadrado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Llanos Botella was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Tucacas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quinito Guisasola to maneuver through the defense. Beltza Melgar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pacifico Neyda. Tucacas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Montxo Cuadrado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cutberto Bodes's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Rai Villapadierna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Cutberto Bodes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tucacas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cutberto Bodes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Montxo Cuadrado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oihenarte Haza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montxo Cuadrado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cutberto Bodes in the 71st minute of the match. Llanos Botella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cutberto Bodes took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Montxo Cuadrado. Montxo Cuadrado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 78 minutes into the game, Furman Miras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tucacas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tronador FC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cutberto Bodes in the 86th minute of play forced Tronador FC's goalkeeper Montxo Cuadrado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Llanos Botella blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pacifico Neyda having to make a save. Tucacas FC were furious when Martino Liquiñano was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Tucacas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tronador FC:s goal. The supporters of Tucacas FC booed when Tronador FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maiorga Fleytas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
