Anxo Codina kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francis Muñoyerro in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Montxo Cuadrado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inautzi Mathey charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inautzi Mathey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tronador FC's Inautzi Mathey got a free kick in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Inautzi Mathey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tronador FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Inautzi Mathey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Menendez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roberto Menendez made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Inautzi Mathey sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Miguelon FC booed when Tronador FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beltza Melgar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th match minute, Tronador FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Pineda to maneuver through the defense. If Inautzi Mathey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 played minutes Tronador FC got a freekick which was hit by Anxo Codina. In the 41st minute, Francis Muñoyerro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inautzi Mathey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roberto Menendez having to make a save. 43 minutes into the game, Llanos Botella recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roberto Menendez. Llanos Botella showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Rigoberto Betances hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francis Muñoyerro made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Francis Muñoyerro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miguelon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Francis Muñoyerro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Montxo Cuadrado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Justo Pineda's late challenge caught a Miguelon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justo Pineda helped the player get up and apologised. Justo Pineda hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Roberto Menendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inautzi Mathey in the 58th minute of the match. Llanos Botella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, Tronador FC's Llanos Botella nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Menendez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Roberto Menendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anxo Codina in the 75th minute of the match. If Rigoberto Betances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tronador FC booed when Miguelon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Bueres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beltza Melgar missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 89 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Roberto Menendez right hand side. A collision led to Miguelon FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Rosendo Bardeci hit a great ball. Francis Muñoyerro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tronador FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Miguelon FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
