Oinaz Legorburu kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Obano Guisado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 17 minutes, Gelacio Betardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marcillal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gelacio Betardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Carreta FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Quin Botana hit a great ball. Quintyn Llano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ekaitz Villarinos's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Oinaz Legorburu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carreta FC's Quintyn Llano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekaitz Villarinos in the 24th minute of play. Ekaitz Villarinos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintyn Llano having to interfere. Quintyn Llano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelacio Betardo in the 38th minute of the match. Marcillal's Endura Murgia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Obano Guisado in the 39th minute of play. When Ekaitz Villarinos came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Marcillal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ekaitz Villarinos couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute, Oinaz Legorburu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Obano Guisado to strike the kick off in the second half. Carreta FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Faustino Sanchez in the 53rd minute. If Ekaitz Villarinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Carreta FC's Quintyn Llano got control of the ball when Gelacio Betardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Quintyn Llano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ekaitz Villarinos's shot from short distance in the 60th minute.
