Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Soter Arista got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute Gombal Arriano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandalio Villamañan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 5 played minutes Saladillo got a freekick which was hit by Cloyo Tarsa. Sandalio Villamañan made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Iraido Ocampo sent off a good shot on target. Pacorro Divaichin charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pacorro Divaichin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute Gombal Arriano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandalio Villamañan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iraido Ocampo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandalio Villamañan having to interfere. After 14 played minutes Union Lara FC got a freekick which was hit by Gombal Arriano. After a rather tough play, Union Lara FC's Zoran Sekulovski got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Gombal Arriano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot by Dani Balague from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Sandalio Villamañan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Padro Barrillos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fliz Castiñeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Salvadore Getino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Padro Barrillos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Salvadore Getino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Padro Barrillos. Union Lara FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salvadore Getino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Gombal Arriano fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Gaizko Parrondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Union Lara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cloyo Tarsa came free, but Padro Barrillos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gombal Arriano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandalio Villamañan having to interfere. If Gaizko Parrondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iraido Ocampo was the one to do the kick off. Urtungo Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Saladillo's goal looked a bit too open when Gombal Arriano came free, but Sandalio Villamañan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 minutes, Emanuel Mammana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Union Lara FC and the Saladillo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emanuel Mammana kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Iraido Ocampo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandalio Villamañan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Gustavo Rafael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gombal Arriano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Union Lara FC's Serafo Alfonso was substituted for Gustavo Rafael. When Gombal Arriano came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Union Lara FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gombal Arriano couldn't finish the play. Serafo Alfonso hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th match minute, Union Lara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilazki Villaran to maneuver through the defense. Padro Barrillos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soter Arista in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, Union Lara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoran Sekulovski to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the game, Gaizko Parrondo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Union Lara FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saladillo the free kick. Gaizko Parrondo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes, Saladillo's Julen Iglesia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Padro Barrillos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saladillo reached it. Serafo Alfonso hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Saladillo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
