After 9 played minutes Mapiricure got a freekick which was hit by Heriberto Ordax. Miliano Albarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heriberto Ordax in the 16th minute of play. If Sengrat Miquel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinei Perero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jurgi Luengo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Villajane in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Mapiricure's Luke Canellas got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Sengrat Miquel came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Mapiricure fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sengrat Miquel couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heriberto Ordax in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miliano Albarez saved Socopó Unido from getting behind. In the 35th match minute, Socopó Unido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barea Urruela to maneuver through the defense. Mapiricure's Jurgi Luengo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Perero in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mapiricure's Luke Canellas got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Claudinei Perero struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Jurgi Luengo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Socopó Unido. 53 minutes into the match, Mapiricure's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Perero came free, but Jurgi Luengo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 played minutes Socopó Unido got a freekick which was hit by Maurilio Candelera. Manuel Villajane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jurgi Luengo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Perero in the 58th minute of play forced Mapiricure's goalkeeper Jurgi Luengo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barea Urruela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sengrat Miquel in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Miliano Albarez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 1-0 became the score in the 73rd minute when Claudinei Perero elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 77 minutes into the game, Socopó Unido's Manuel Villajane nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jurgi Luengo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Jakobe Vera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute Heriberto Ordax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miliano Albarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miliano Albarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heriberto Ordax, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miliano Albarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heriberto Ordax in the 91st minute of play. If Manuel Villajane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Socopó Unido were the better team. Socopó Unido's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
