Rey Surga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helder Leciana in the 3rd minute of play. Rey Surga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helder Leciana in the 6th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Jimenez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Txema Gainzarain came free, but Eutor Megia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xacobo Verdugo charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xacobo Verdugo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Jimenez FC got a freekick which was hit by Xacobo Verdugo. If Txema Gainzarain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eutor Megia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Txema Gainzarain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eutor Megia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Txema Gainzarain in the 23rd minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Jimenez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Estebe Mill to maneuver through the defense. Estavan Amezua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Estebe Mill during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Estebe Mill hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Santutxo Benavidez sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Jimenez FC's Eutor Megia didn't even have to move. In the 37th minute Txema Gainzarain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eutor Megia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pero Pont's late challenge caught a Jimenez FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pero Pont helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Capiricual getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Pero Pont hit a great ball. Rey Surga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helder Leciana in the 43rd minute of play. Eustaquio Borrego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Eutor Megia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustaquio Borrego made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helder Leciana in the 52nd minute of play forced Capiricual's goalkeeper Rey Surga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Jimenez FC booed when Capiricual was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reyes Barrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 55 minutes, Honorio Bayas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capiricual and the Jimenez FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Honorio Bayas kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Capiricual's goal looked a bit too open when Helder Leciana came free, but Rey Surga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Imanol Ayon hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute of the match, Txema Gainzarain got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eutor Megia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Eustaquio Borrego managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capiricual's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Borrego was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eutor Megia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Txema Gainzarain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Eutor Megia made a huge save. A hard shot 68 in the game by Txema Gainzarain from a close distance when the talented Eutor Megia managed to make a qualified save. Jimenez FC's players were relieved. Helder Leciana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Estavan Amezua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustaquio Borrego struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Eutor Megia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capiricual.
