Seme Ibern started the match with the kick off. Cuseve FC's Leonides Sama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juaneizu Valls in the 6th minute of play. Modestio Millon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gumaro Ladrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Juaneizu Valls managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guapachana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juaneizu Valls was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Modestio Millon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Cuseve FC's Modestio Millon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gumaro Ladrada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute Hurko Gobantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gumaro Ladrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Juaneizu Valls came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Guapachana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juaneizu Valls couldn't finish the play. Leonides Sama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juaneizu Valls, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pirro Barrientos charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pirro Barrientos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 37 minutes into the game, one of Guapachana:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Cuseve FC a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ibar Ugartondo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guapachana's Gumaro Ladrada. 1-0. Modestio Millon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hurko Gobantes made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Hurko Gobantes made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Guapachana's Gumaro Ladrada tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cuseve FC's Hurko Gobantes got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juaneizu Valls struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Leonides Sama didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guapachana. Hurko Gobantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gumaro Ladrada having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Nuno Iravedra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guapachana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuseve FC the free kick. After having played for 77 minutes, Seme Ibern managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Feliz Almeida hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cuseve FC had won after a very even match.
