Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Caracakingo Cortazar got the match started through his kick off. Todor Catiti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Rezabal, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Caracakingo Cortazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Abudure FC's zone, Loramendi Llamosas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cresconio Morelo came out of the goal and Loramendi Llamosas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute Benigno Rezabal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Todor Catiti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Benigno Rezabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Abudure FC's zone, Caracakingo Cortazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cresconio Morelo came out of the goal and Caracakingo Cortazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Benigno Rezabal came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Abudure FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Rezabal couldn't finish the play. After having played for 31 minutes, Caracakingo Cortazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Machuquero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caracakingo Cortazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caracakingo Cortazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cresconio Morelo having to interfere. Benigno Rezabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Todor Catiti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Castulo Avellano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Benigno Rezabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonatan Elguea to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Elguea in the 52nd minute of play forced Machuquero's goalkeeper Todor Catiti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benigno Rezabal was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Benigno Rezabal scored 0-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Todor Catiti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cresconio Morelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loramendi Llamosas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Abudure FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Xzavion Besteo hit a great ball. Machuquero's Caracakingo Cortazar got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 68 minutes, Caracakingo Cortazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Machuquero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caracakingo Cortazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benigno Rezabal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Todor Catiti skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Loramendi Llamosas might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cresconio Morelo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Loramendi Llamosas ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 76 minutes, Benigno Rezabal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abudure FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benigno Rezabal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Loramendi Llamosas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Abudure FC's Cresconio Morelo. Cresconio Morelo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benigno Rezabal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 92nd playminute. Benigno Rezabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abudure FC played a much better game than Machuquero and deserved their victory. The Machuquero players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
