The supporters of Cumbo FC booed when Vicentero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oxel Aubert didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sansone Almonacid during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Cumbo FC. Eron Recondo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leonel Ayo. 0-1. The supporters of Vicentero FC booed when Cumbo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrao Torre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sasoin Indo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Feliberto Taladriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mundo Llacin in the 18th minute of play forced Cumbo FC's goalkeeper Feliberto Taladriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sasoin Indo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicentero FC's Mundo Llacin got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Vicentero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Larra Vivar came free, but Leonel Ayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Larra Vivar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Ayo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Cumbo FC's Feliberto Taladriz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Cumbo FC from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, Ladio Guitian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sasoin Indo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Feliberto Taladriz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Leonel Ayo came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Cumbo FC's Nicodemo Gerica. But to his dismay, Nicodemo Gerica quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Leonel Ayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Larra Vivar in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Sasoin Indo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cumbo FC's Feliberto Taladriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mundo Llacin in the 56th minute of play. Nicodemo Gerica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Ayo having to interfere. After 78 minutes, Ladio Guitian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cumbo FC and the Vicentero FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cumbo FC's Ladio Guitian got a free kick in the 78th minute. During the 85th minute of the match Ladio Guitian completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ladio Guitian a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After having played for 87 minutes, Sasoin Indo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vicentero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sasoin Indo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Mundo Llacin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vicentero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mundo Llacin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Taladriz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 91 played minutes Cumbo FC got a freekick which was hit by Arlo Cascajares. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cumbo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Solustiano Cerezal was slow to take the kick. During this time Vicentero FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Vicentero FC's corner Solustiano Cerezal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Feliberto Taladriz quite easily take care of the ball. Cumbo FC's Feliberto Taladriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mundo Llacin in the 95th minute of play. The Cumbo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cumbo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
