Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hever Lordaliego made the kick off and thus started the match. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Garzones FC! The goalkeeper, Giro PujarµN, was totally fooled by Macaquita's Platon Hiriart, who 7 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Lucas Pañeda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pere Mandojana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Cris Zamorano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Pañeda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Macaquita defense, Delmiro Carrera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cris Zamorano. The Macaquita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cris Zamorano should have stopped the shot. If Beltza Barrueta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Pañeda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cris Zamorano having to make a save. When Macaquita's Presebal Ureta in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garzones FC's goalie prevented a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Garzones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Presebal Ureta came free, but Giro PujarµN reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Presebal Ureta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giro PujarµN read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Presebal Ureta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Garzones FC's Giro PujarµN played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Presebal Ureta in the 53rd minute of play. Beltza Barrueta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maju Guete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giro PujarµN having to interfere. Garzones FC's Giro PujarµN played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Presebal Ureta in the 64th minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Macaquita's goalkeeper Cris Zamorano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Giro PujarµN took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Presebal Ureta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes, Natal Delatorre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macaquita and the Garzones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes Macaquita got a freekick which was hit by Natal Delatorre. A hard shot 85 in the game by Lucas Pañeda from a close distance when the talented Cris Zamorano managed to make a qualified save. Macaquita's players were relieved. When Natal Delatorre was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. In the 88th minute, Lucas Pañeda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 89 minutes, Pere Mandojana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garzones FC and the Macaquita players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Pere Mandojana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Maju Guete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
