Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vedillo Santianes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 4 minutes, Martinez Vijil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castillas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martinez Vijil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martinez Vijil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fraco Cobos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Miranda got a freekick which was hit by Serapio Millon. A hard shot by Llorian Casiano from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Fraco Cobos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 13th minute, Gombal Pelayo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castillas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Rufo Bustinaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carmelo Flames's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Miranda's Vedillo Santianes got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miro Fonseca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fraco Cobos. Miranda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 31st minute Carmelo Flames shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rufo Bustinaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vedillo Santianes succeeded in the game's 34th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Miranda's Fraco Cobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martinez Vijil in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match, Gombal Pelayo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fraco Cobos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Martinez Vijil was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martinez Vijil to make the kick off. Fraco Cobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martinez Vijil in the 52nd minute of play. Carmelo Flames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Rufo Bustinaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmelo Flames's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rufo Bustinaga firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Mariano Cabezon fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miranda's protests and gave Mariano Cabezon a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Castillas FC booed when Miranda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Cabezon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gombal Pelayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fraco Cobos having to interfere. If Martinez Vijil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Miranda's zone, Gombal Pelayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fraco Cobos came out of the goal and Gombal Pelayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th match minute, Miranda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Cabezon to maneuver through the defense. In the game's 97th minute Castillas FC's Llorian Casiano took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Fraco Cobos and thus the score was 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Castillas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Miranda had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
